What is Inmate Help?
When someone you love is in a Spanish prison and you live in another country, even small things become hard. Money can only be paid in after the inmate has authorised you in a written request (instancia), and clothes cannot be sent by post or courier. They must be handed in personally at the prison, also with authorisation. Inmate Help is our monthly service where we take care of these things for you.
What is included
- Clothes, shoes and books handed in personally at the prison
- Money (peculio) paid into the inmate’s prison account, with the right authorisation
- Booking a notary when documents need to be signed
- Doctor appointments outside the prison
- Following up with the prison and keeping you updated
How it works
- You contact us and we have a free consultation.
- We agree on what the inmate needs and how often.
- We take care of the practical tasks in Spain.
- You get regular written updates by email.
Price: €200 per month
The cost of items and money sent to the inmate is paid by you. You can cancel the service every month.
